What we collect, why, and how to have it deleted.

When you fill in the fit check, we collect your name, your email address, and what you type about your project: the kind of product, the stage you are at, and your description of what you want to build.

Your browser also tells us the page you arrived on, the page that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked. We use that to understand which pages bring people here.

If you write to us by email, we keep that email thread. That is all we hold.

One reason: so a person here can read your idea and reply with a straight answer and, where it fits, a written scope. Everything else on this page follows from that single purpose.

The people who run this studio, and nobody else. We keep your information to ourselves — it is never sold, rented, traded or handed to anyone for their own use.

We run no newsletter and no automated sales sequence. Your email address is used to answer you, and to continue that conversation while it is live.

This website is hosted and your fit check is stored on infrastructure we operate.

Google provides our website analytics and our advertising measurement, which is how we see traffic and campaign performance.

Our email provider delivers the confirmation email you receive after a fit check and carries our replies to you.

Those are the only third parties involved.

Fit checks and the email threads that follow are kept for 24 months, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. After that they are deleted.

If we work together, the records tied to that engagement are kept for 7 years, which is what tax and accounting rules require.

Analytics data is held by Google under Google's own retention settings, which we keep at 14 months.

Write to us and we will delete what we hold about you, and confirm in writing once it is done. We act on it within 30 days, usually the same week.

The same address works for a copy of what we hold, or a correction to it. Just ask — a reason is welcome, and it is entirely optional.

The Google analytics and advertising measurement described above set cookies in your browser. Your browser settings let you clear or block them, and the fit check keeps working either way.

This is a service for businesses and founders, and it is intended for people aged 18 and over.

If what we do with your information changes, we update this page and change the date at the top. The version you see here is always the one in force.
